I am excited to announce the recent launch of my photography venture and website named zeju. There’s a reason you’ve never seen the word in Webster’s. The history behind the name started about nine years ago when my husband and I had just started dating.We wanted to say, I love you in an extra special way, in a way that was different than I love my car, my dog, my shoes… We both agreed the word love was thrown around too casually. So we decided to invent a new word, zeju, to symbolize our love for each other. We started with our initials: E for Erin and J for John and placed them together in the middle. My favorite letter is Z, so we put it first. When I asked John his favorite letter, he replied, you, meaning me, but I said, okay, a U it is! and we put it at the end. That is how we happened upon zeju!
As a photographer wanting to capture the love in other people’s lives, I thought it very fitting to name my business after our love for each other, for Jesus Christ and for life! I believe that love should encompass all aspects of our lives, and I would enjoy capturing the special moments and love in your life! I specialize in weddings, individual and family portraits as well as creative photography.
